According to the group, a new multi-storey car park will be constructed at its Cork site, in addition to a new 80-room wing, three new operating theatres and a specialist cancer centre. This work is valued at €85m.
Galway will benefit from a €15m investment, which will see 50 new bedrooms built, as well as a physiotherapy department and a dining room. These will all tie in with the existing hospital building.

The development represents phase two of an overall investment of €50m at the Galway site.
Bon Secours Health System Chief Executive, Pat Lyons, said: "[This] announcement reflects our response to the growing demand from our consultants, general practitioners and patients for additional facilities and services in our hospitals.
"We are fully committed to a strategy which focuses on sustaining our business model and, indeed, protecting employment in the midst of an extremely challenging economic cycle."
Bon Secours Health System is a not-for-profit private healthcare provider. It is considered once of the largest of its kind in Ireland, comprising five hospitals in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Tralee.
