Roads Minister Conor Murphy said works on the B3, Castleblaney Road with the Derrynoose Road, Keady - which will provide a right turning lane and improved visibility - is to be progressed as part of the funding.
Similar works providing a right turning lane and improved visibility measures will also be carried out on the A29, Keady Road, at the junction with Rock Road Armagh.

In addition to the schemes that will be delivered in 2009/10, the Minister also made reference to the development work that was being undertaken on strategic road improvement schemes.
He said: "I particularly welcome the ongoing design work on the Armagh North and West link scheme which will outline a new 'out of town' corridor in the preparation for this progressing through the statutory procedures."
Road Service's Acting Divisional Roads Manager Bertie Ellison welcomed the planned investment in local transport and safety measures.
Mr Ellison highlighted some of the schemes already completed in 2008/09.
These included providing a new footway and integrating traffic calming measures on the B115, Cathedral Road, Armagh. In addition to this numerous resurfacing schemes were completed within the Armagh council area.
