Replaceable Tip Router Cutters

Construction News Image
Trend has now extended its range of popular replaceable tip router cutters.

A further nine 1/4" shank styles have been added as well as a 1/2" shank stair cutter.

This type of router cutter is ideal for the heavy trade user and has a number of economical advantages over conventional brazed tip cutters.

The replaceable carbide blade gives a cost saving to the user as only the blade is replaced and not the cutter body.

It is fixed directly to the cutter body and is easily removed with the hex key supplied.

The other cost saving advantage is due to the fact that the cutter body stays in place when changing blades, therefore reducing down-time.

The cutter range includes a small guided rebater, 45° V groove, 6.3mm radius shank mounted bearing cove, and three bearing guided tools; a 6.3mm cove, 6.3mm roundover, and a 4.5mm ogee.

The 1/2" shank two flute stair housing tool has a 22mm diameter and is for use on stair housing machines or jigs. It is available in right hand or left hand rotation.

The new range of replaceable cutters are priced from £32.50 and the replaceable blades start from £5.50 exc vat, and are available from all Trend Routing Centres and stockists.
