€32,000 For Seanscoil na Trá Báine In Galway

Irish Communities Minister Éamon Ó Cuív has announced a grant of €31,997, which has been approved for the Development Committee of Seanscoil na Trá Báine, An Trá Bháin, Leitir Móir to assist with the costs involved in upgrading the heating system and building a new store.


A grant of €26,664 has been approved under the Gaeltacht Improvements Scheme and €5,333 approved under the CLÁR scheme.

The Minister said that he was pleased to be able to provide this grant to the Committee.

The centre organises various activities such as classes and exhibitions and it is also used by the local Irish college.

Mr Ó Cuív added: "I am pleased to be in a position to announce this grant which will enable the Committee to improve this facility. The local Irish college will also gain from these improvements."
