Eighty NI Housing Executive kitchens have been given a make-over as part of £373,000 scheme to revitalise rural communities.
Homes in the Gortin and Beltrim areas received brand new modern units and worktops, with tenants choosing from a range of finishes.
Electrical and plumbing installations were upgraded to modern standards, with a dedicated socket created for washing machines, tumble dryers or dishwashers.
Electrically wired smoke alarms were also installed in those homes which did not already have them.
District Manager Ivan Armstrong said: "Good housing contributes to the regeneration of rural communities and maintaining our properties in good condition is one of our main priorities.
"I would like to thank the tenants for their co-operation throughout the scheme and hope that any inconvenience which they experienced was minimal."
Mr and Mrs McCrystal from Beltrim Crescent are delighted with their new kitchen and lauded the work of the contractor, Corrigan Construction, who they described as "excellent".
"We had been looking forward to having a new kitchen and we are very pleased with how it has turned out," said Mr McCrystal.
"The quality of workmanship was of a very high standard and the workmen kept everything very clean and tidy which meant a lot. The new units and worktops are lovely and are a vast improvement on our old kitchen," he added.
