CRH Gives Interim Management Statement Notification

Building material group CRH has said it will issue an interim management statement on 11 November as part of its ongoing investor relations activity.

CRH will host an analysts' conference call at 8am to discuss the statement.

CRH plc, headquartered in Ireland, has operations in 34 countries, employing approximately 92,000 people at over 3,500 locations.

The group is divided into six regionally focussed business segments, three in the Americas and three in Europe, supported by a lean Group centre: Europe Materials, Europe Products, Europe Distribution, Americas Materials, Americas Products and Americas Distribution.


Earlier this month, CRH announced its was to withdraw its scrip dividend offer.

On 26 August CRH announced an Interim Dividend for the year ending 31 December 2008 of 20.5% Ordinary Share, and subsequently a Scrip Dividend Offer at a price of €18.37 per Share.

Since then, continuing market volatility has resulted in a decline in the value of CRH shares, which makes the 2008 Interim Scrip Dividend Offer unattractive compared to CRH's current share price.
