An innovative new software product, designed to assist estate/letting agents and property developers, has been unveiled by Londonderry-based Nolka Design.
The technology driven firmed, which operates from Eglinton, has been assisted by Invest Northern Ireland in the venture.
Nolka Design specialises in graphic and web design, multimedia technology and online management systems.
Its latest programme Nolka Estates is a bespoke online software solution for information management.
The software system enables estate and letting agents to process day-to-day data on buying, selling and renting of properties.
Nolka Estates has been developed in consultation with estate agents and using Invest NI's Product and Process Development scheme.
Invest NI northwest Manager Des Gartland said: "Nolka is an ambitious technology-driven company which is focused on growth. It has invested significant resources in developing an innovative product that meets a market need that the company has pinpointed through its contacts and research."
Kevin Greene, Nolka Design Managing Director, said: "We talked to a number of existing clients in the property sector to see how our expertise could help them to improve their overall business performance.
"We took the information they provided and used it to create a software solution that meets their specific requirements and provides a strong platform for continued business development.
"Feedback from clients has been positive and encouraging.
"We intend to market Nolka Estates in the Republic of Ireland and then in Great Britain, because estate agents and property developers there have similar requirements and procedures.
"We've learned a great deal about the whole process and this knowledge will help us as we seek new business opportunities for our expertise," he added.
