ALP Scores €2.5m Lansdowne Road Stadium Project

Ireland's largest manufacturers of pre-insulated ductwork, ALP Ducting Ireland Ltd, recently announced that the company had been contracted to provide a comprehensive pre-insulated ductwork solution to meet the specific requirements of Lansdowne Road's redevelopment.

"We are proud to be a part of the redevelopment of one of the most famous icons of Irish sport," ALP Ducting Ireland's managing director Bill Ahern said. "Our pre-insulated duct work is manufactured in Ireland, and will be used in one of the Ireland's most popular venues."

ALP's pre-insulated ducting systems were chosen by Mercury Engineering Ltd, the main mechanical contractor of the Lansdowne Road Stadium redevelopment, due to a number of reasons including its light weight, energy efficiency, and manufacturing flexibility.

The redevelopment work at Lansdowne Stadium is now well under way, with a proposed completion date of early 2010.
