The judges stopped-off at Belfast Central, Bangor and Carrickfergus, which are entered in this year's International Station Awards competition.
NI Railways welcomed the judges from Northern Rail in England, NS Rail in the Netherlands, First Transpennine Express and Irish Rail to Northern Ireland.
This is the third year of the awards and NI Railways have entered three stations into each of the three categories covering small, medium and large stations.

All aspects of the train stations including their facilities, presentation, and customer service levels were under scrutiny.
Hilton Parr, NI Railways Customer Services Manager, said: "NI Railways are delighted to be participating in the International Station Awards.
"This is the third year we have entered three stations and we hope that the investment in our stations over the past few years and dedication of our staff in maintaining them to the highest possible standards will prove successful.
"NI Railways also work very closely with a number of local community groups, who contribute both time and effort to enhancing their local station.
"The presentation of our stations is to be commended and we hope this will be reflected in the overall judging."
Judges from NI Railways have been judging stations in Holland and England and are due to travel south later this week to judge Irish Rail stations.
The results will be announced in November.
