Brett Martin Backs Construction Awards

Brett Martin, which employs 800 across seven UK facilities, has agreed overall sponsorship of the prestigious Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Northern Ireland Awards. The scheme will present prizes in four categories - Sustainability, Building Conservation, Regeneration and Community Benefit - in addition to an overall Award for Excellence in the Built Environment, at a ceremony in Belfast's Waterfront Hall on May 21.

Winners then go forward to compete in the RICS International Awards.

Brett Martin Director of Building Products, Joe Doyle said: "As a supplier to many of Northern Ireland's largest and most prestigious public and private sector development schemes, we are proud to partner with RICS to recognise the important work being undertaken by construction professionals in Northern Ireland.

RICS Northern Ireland Director, Ben Collins added: "Brett Martin is one of Northern Ireland's most successful and most dynamic businesses, and a major supplier to the construction sector. Its support for the RICS Northern Ireland Awards is therefore extremely fitting and very welcome.

"These awards are the most rigorous of their kind, with the assessment process including site visits to every entry by leading professionals and experts. The overall winner of the RICS Northern Ireland Awards will be a truly outstanding building project which plays a vital role in its local community," Mr Collins said.
