The works, scheduled from 9am to 6pm, will affect homes and businesses in Newtownstalaban, Newfoundwell Road, Greenhills, Westcourt, Cord Road, Termon Abbey, Termonfeckin, Baltray, Balfeddock, Beltichburne, Banktown, Ballydonnell, Duffsfarm, Seapoint, An Grianan, Beaulieu, Ganderpark, The Priory, Bridgeview, Mount Sandford, College Rise, Harmony Heights, Newtown Meadows, Aston Village and nearby areas.

Assuring local homes and businesses that every effort will be made to reduce the impact of the works and restore the water supply following works as quickly as possible, Uisce Éireann's Sinéad Kennedy said:
"We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and co-operation during these essential works."
Following works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network replenishes. As the water supply returns, there may be some increased short-term instances of discoloured water.
