FK Lowry has announced its achievement of the 'Silver' Accreditation from the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
Launched in 2012, the Supply Chain Sustainability School is a free virtual learning platform around sustainability, with the aim to upskill those working within, or aspiring to work within, the built environment sector. The learning covers the three core pillars of Sustainability: Environmental, Social, and Economic. It addresses key issues such as carbon management and combating modern slavery. Additionally, the School provides training on essential topics to help the industry become more sustainable.
The School offers thousands of resources free of charge. The resource library is organised by topics such as Sustainability, Lean, and Offsite, and can be filtered by competency level, market, resource type, rating and sub-topics.
Mark Mc Keown, FK Lowry’s Business Development Manager said: "We started our Supply Chain Sustainability Journey in January this year with the Roll-Out at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin. With a dedicated and enthusiastic group of colleagues, we quickly achieved 'Bronze' Status and just this week we were awarded 'Silver'! With ambitious and forward thinking colleagues, we're now going for 'Gold' and look forward to continuing our Sustainability Journey with the Supply Chain Sustainability."
