Construction News Image
FP McCann, a precast concrete supply and install partner to Morgan Sindall, has exhibited at the company's

"Embracing the Digital Frontier" event.

The event which hosted over 100 suppliers offered an opportunity for members of the group's procurement teams and a number of partnering sub-contractors to interact with exhibiting companies.

FP McCann's modular precast concrete crosswall building solutions, architectural panel systems and structural precast concrete flooring were on display.

Graham Edgell, Morgan Sindall's Group Director of Procurement & Sustainability, welcomed everyone to the event by saying the day was a great opportunity for staff to engage and collaborate with members of the supply chain family and to jointly address some of the new challenges ahead including BIM Digital Construction, an evolution of Building Information Modelling (BIM). BIM Digital Construction enables the generation and management of information on a construction project during its entire life cycle to create digital and built assets.

Ryan Millican, Estimating Manager and Chris Pearson, Project Manager attended the event on behalf of FP McCann. The exhibition provided Chris and Ryan with the opportunity to sit down with members of the Morgan Sindall procurement and supply chain teams to explore upcoming project opportunities for FP McCann and to demonstrate the Company's use of digital technologies as part of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).

Ryan Millican said: "We already have a healthy and growing collaborative relationship with Morgan Sindall and their construction partners and I am confident moving forward that FP McCann will be the supplier and installer of choice on a number of keynote structural precast concrete projects."
