The water utility company anticipates that the water supply will begin to return this evening, 24 November. It can take two to three hours for the water supply to return to normal for all affected customers.

In the meantime, an alternative water supply is currently being arranged and will be in place at the car park close to Concannon's Hardware in Killimor Village until 25 November.
Customers are reminded to use their own clean and sanitised potable containers when taking water from the alternative water supply.
Uisce Éireann's Justin Doran said: "We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are and we regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to thank impacted customers in the Portumna area for their patience while we work on repairs and restore the water supply as quickly as possible."
