Resurfacing Works To Begin In Ballycastle

Contractors have been appointed to resurface approximately 1 kilometre of the B67 Moyarget Road in Ballycastle to improve the road's surface quality.

Resurfacing work will begin on the 18 September and is due to be completed on the 30 September. However this is dependent on weather conditions.

The road will be closed between 7.30am and 6.00pm. Diversions will be in place via Castlecatt Road, Straid Road, Church Street, Ballycastle and vice versa.

A secondary division will also be operating beyond the main diversion through Carrowreagh Road, Main Street, Armoy, A44 Hillside Road/Magheramore Road and vice versa.

Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journey. Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained.
