Led by Uisce Éireann, in partnership with Limerick City and County Council and IDA Ireland, this project will see over 1.7km of damaged water mains replaced with new modern pipes.
The project to replace the water mains in the National Technology Park, Plassey will commence in May. These works are being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann's National Leakage Reduction Programme.

Uisce Éireann's Gerry O’Donnell said: "Fewer bursts and less leakage mean a stronger more resilient supply for homes and businesses. Securing Plassey's water supply is a priority for Uisce Éireann and it is great to see this work commencing which will reduce the risk of outages from bursts now and into the future."
The section of works will take place along Plassey Park Road between the entrance of Edwards Lifesciences and its junction with Holland Road.
ShareRidge will carry out the works, which are expected to be completed by mid-summer, on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
