Uisce Éireann and Kilkenny County Council worked to deliver the essential repairs and minimise inconvenience for those affected. It typically takes two to three hours for water to refill the network and normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.

Customers may experience airlocks in their internal plumbing following an outage.
James O'Tool, Uisce Éireann, commented: "The repairs were conducted as quickly and as efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to the area and restore normal water supply for all customers.
