Irish Water is progressing with repairs at The Hill, Garball Bay Road, after a watermain burst in the area yesterday, 24 October.
These repair works are proving to be a bit more difficult than usual and requires the team to replace approximately 70m of watermain. Therefore, the utility does not expect to have work finished and supply returned this evening.

An alternative water supply will be made available for approximately 20 homes impacted by this outage. A tanker will be in place at Ardcross, Graball Bay Road, Crosshaven from 3pm today, 25 October.
Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
