Approximately £500,000 is being invested to resurface a section of the A26 Newbridge Road, extending 110m west from Wattstown Roundabout towards the Causeway Hospital and east from Wattstown Roundabout to Windyhall.
The resurfacing works will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface quality of this busy trunk road for many years to come.

Work will get underway on Monday 25 July and run until Friday 12 August.
To minimise disruption on this busy section of road the works will be carried out using night time closures from 7pm to 7am Monday to Friday for the duration of the works.
During the road closure through traffic bound for Coleraine will be diverted at the Portrush Road Roundabout at Ballymoney, via Ballybogey Road and Ballyrashane Road to Ballycastle Road Roundabout. Ballymoney bound traffic will be diverted at Lodge Road Roundabout along the same route to Ballymoney. Diversions for local traffic will be signposted.
Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
