QMAC Construction has celebrated 25 years since the business was established. The company was set up by Peter and Rhona Quinn who have seen the business grow over the past 25 years and met many challenges along the way.
Peter Quinn, Operations Director, said: "Since the business was set up, we are proud to say that the company has been appointed to work on many landmark projects including for example the delicate restoration work at both Enniskillen Castle and the award-winning St. Patrick's Church in Donaghmore. Like every progressive company, our most valuable asset is our people; we have many long-serving staff including specialist tradespeople as well as project-management and support staff who all contribute to turning ideas and concepts from drawings into reality. We are indebted to them along with our skilled supply chain."
In recent years QMAC Construction has put a renewed focus on two areas of the business – further improvement in its health & safety management systems, as well as reviewing quality management in all areas of the business. The next focus is equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the company as part of a wider objective to help make the construction industry more open and welcoming and be an industry of choice for young people contemplating career options.
Rhona Quinn, Managing Director, is proud of what the team has achieved: "The past 25 years has been challenging for everyone in the industry. The past few years have been particularly difficult; however, we are looking forward to a return to a normal trading environment and are committed to building on the success that we have had to date."
