Elliott Group has appointed Will Leahy as Regional Director for Munster.
A native of East Cork, Will has deep roots in the region and with over 23 years of Tier 1 Main Contractor experience, he is responsible for construction operations and new contracting opportunities in the Munster Region.
Beginning his career as Site Engineer in 1999, Will has successfully progressed within the industry, and in doing so has gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of the complex responsibilities encountered whilst delivering construction projects.
As a highly motivated, focused, and driven individual, Will has a strong desire to succeed. In addition to developing the careers of his team members, he uses his extensive skills and experience to help them succeed. As a leader, he realises the importance of building a team with expertise, respect, and the desire to surpass client expectations, so that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Will has managed large construction teams, multidisciplinary design teams, and numerous contractors in the past two decades, delivering successful projects for clients across all spectrums of the industry. He has also handled a diverse range of contract types, both civil and building. Throughout his career, he has also successfully worked with public bodies/stakeholders, such as councils, school boards of management, Irish Water, etc. He has also managed both complex and high value PPP and Design and Build projects as well as being noted for his strong track record in forming enduring Design Team and Customer relationships. Industry sectors he has worked in include healthcare, residential, leisure, education, pharmaceutical, industrial, and civil.
