Henry Brothers, which recently released its Journey to Net Zero by 2050 Strategy and Group Corporate Responsibility Report, was named the NI Responsible Company of the Year in 2021 for its commitment to reducing the impact of its operations on the environment, cultivating a strong employee culture, and supporting the local community through various charitable initiatives.

The Responsible Business Awards is encouraging businesses of all sizes across all sectors to enter the awards before the deadline of 29 April.

Kieran Harding, Managing Director, Business in the Community added: "Business is needed more than ever to step up and make a difference. Northern Ireland firms should be proud of all they have achieved during the challenges of the past two years through the pandemic and now as we face more uncertain times on the global scene.

"It is vital that companies support their people, keep the environment and sustainability at the top of their agenda and really deepen their engagement with communities. I encourage entries from the full spectrum of businesses, large and small, and look forward to recognising these achievements at our gala event later this year."

Entering the Awards is free, and the application process has moved online.
