Led by the Green Party and Minister Ossian Smyth, the forum will feature a panel of experts in the law, engineering, energy and the ecology discussing the costs and benefits of Wind Energy Turbines in the Irish Sea, their impact on the environment and what, if any, viable alternatives there are or will be in the future.

Green TD for Dún Laoghaire Ossian Smyth will be joined by co-chair of the Climate & Energy Group at the Institute for International and European Affairs, Professor Owen Lewis; Alice Whittaker, who leads the 'Tier 1' Environment and Climate Group at Philip Lee; and Head of Innovation at Gavin and Doherty Geosolutions, Dr Cian Desmond.
The event will take place at the National Maritime Museum in Dún Laoghaire at 7pm on Thursday, 10 March.
