Dunmore Construction (Dundrum) Ltd has released the first phase of its Clanbrassil Housing Development, at Middle Tollymore Road in Newcastle.
Construction of the 56 three bedroom semi-detached and detached homes began earlier this year with the first handovers anticipated in January 2021. The properties will be covered by a NHBC Warranty.
The high insulation values and low maintenance external finishes will make the property particularly efficient to run.
The turnkey properties, which are being sold through James Wilson & Sons Estate Agents, Newcastle have been finished to an exceptional standard with Fibrus and Oprenreach available, and the development is the first to be fully connected to the Phoenix Natural Gas network which has been made available in the Newcastle area in recent months.
Micheál Rodgers of Dunmore Construction, said: "Clanbrassil has been designed to offer its residents modern, convenient and comfortable living finished to an exceptional standard in an area of outstanding scenic beauty.
"We are delighted that Clanbrassil will be the first development in Newcastle to be connected to the Phoenix Natural Gas network, giving our residents immediate access to valuable lifestyle benefits such as instant heat and constant hot water, while being connected to a lower carbon fuel source."
More than 2,400 new build properties have been connected to the Phoenix Natural Gas network in 2020. Eunice McClune, New Build Sales Manager at Phoenix Natural Gas is delighted with the number of new developments across East Down who are making the connection.
He said: "Natural gas has quickly become the fuel of choice for new build homes across Northern Ireland seeking to provide comfortable, convenient living for their residents. We are excited to be working with clients like Dunmore Construction, supporting them in their ambitions to operate with an energy efficiency focus and we look forward to providing natural gas access for future developments."
