Limavady Road To Undergo Improvements

A road in the Co L'Derry town of Limavady is set to undergo a series of improvement works.

Work will begin on the Ballyquin Road tomorrow, Thursday 13 February, and run until Sunday 23 February.

The Department for Infrastructure is investing £206,000 to resurface a 1.44km section of the road from Scroggy Road to near Ballyavelin Road, Ardgarvan.

A full road closure will be in place from 7.30 am to 6pm daily throughout the work.

During the road closure a diversion will be in operation for Limavady bound traffic via Derryork Road, Drumrane road, Baranailt Road, Lisnakilly Road and Main Street Limavady.

Dungiven bound traffic will be diverted via Ballyquin road, Irish Green Sreet, Catherine Street, Lisnakilly Road, Barnailt Road and Drumrane Road.

Those travelling in the area are advised to expect delays.
