Local West Tyrone MP Órfhlaith Begley and Catherine Kelly MLA met with the Permanent Secretary of the DfC pressing for investment to regenerate the vacant site at Omagh Health Centre into a thriving Enterprise Hub.
The trio visited the site of the proposed centre with the Chief Executive of Omagh Enterprise, Nick O'Shiel, to discuss how the enterprise hub could assist the regeneration of the town and the wider area.

Located close to the South West College and the Strule Education Campus, the proposed hub would create more opportunities for young people in the area.
If approved, the project would provide space for 40 businesses and 200 employees.
Urging the DfC to support the project, the West Tyrone MP added: "The proposed enterprise hub will also contribute to the community plan for Omagh as it would be in a neighbourhood renewal area.
"We will continue to press the Department to progress this important project for Omagh."
