Road works have been announced in the Londonderry village of Desertmartin, starting next month.
The £140,000 project will see improvements delivered from Tobermore Road to the National Speed limit signs on the Moneymore Road.
Work will begin on the 730-metre section on Monday 05 August and run until Sunday 11 August.
A full road closure will be in place for the duration of the works.
During this time a two-way traffic diversion will be in operation along the B42 Magherafelt Road from Tobermore to Magherafelt and the B40 and A31 Moneymore Road from Magherafelt to Moneymore and vice versa. An alternative diversion route will be available via the A6 Glenshane Road and A31 Magherafelt By-pass.
Diversion routes will clearly signed and local access will be facilitated.
