The council will host a series of public information meetings and drop in sessions to provide further information of the draft Plan Strategy which was published last month and for the public to raise any questions they may have.
These events will be held across the Borough from 31 July to 05 September.
Speaking ahead of the public consultation, Chair of the Planning Committee, Alderman Philip Brett, said: "Planning decisions affect our housing, education, businesses, rural communities and our natural and historic environment and through the draft Plan Strategy we wish to positively and proactively guide development in the Borough so that we can meet the needs and improve the quality of life of all our residents.

"The eight week period of public consultation and engagement will provide everyone with an opportunity to have their say on our proposals for the future of the Borough and I would encourage everyone to have their say and help shape future Council policies that will positively affect employment, infrastructure, housing and sustainable growth across the Borough for years to come."
