HMRC Regional Centre Complete In Belfast

The home of the new HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) Belfast Regional Centre has been completed.

The seven-storey Erskine House was built by contractor GRAHAM, beginning in late 2017.

Located in Belfast city centre close to Great Victoria Street railway station, the new 104,052 sq ft building will also include commercial lettings on the ground floor.

GRAHAM's Regional Implementation Lead, Tina Gallagher, was presented with a ceremonial key at a 'key-handover ceremony' last week to mark the completion of construction.


Speaking at the ceremony, Tina Gallagher said: "This is a significant milestone for HMRC, which will bring together more than 1,800 colleagues into one central location.

"The department has a large and long established presence in Northern Ireland and the new regional centre in Belfast demonstrates its commitment to the region and its economy.

"I am pleased to accept this ceremonial key on behalf of HMRC and look forward to returning when the building opens later this year."

The building is now ready for interior fit-out, with GRAHAM's interior fit-out division responsible for fitting the internal walls, ceilings, reception, lighting and fixings.

Belfast Regional Centre is on track to open in December 2019.
