€3m Contract Agreed For New Limerick Housing Development

Martin's Construction has agreed a €3 million contract to deliver new homes in Limerick.

The contractor will build 11 two-storey homes and a three-storey block incorporating two apartments on the Waller's Well site on Roxboro Road.

There will also be a new site access road constructed from the Roxboro Road, along with additional car parking spaces and an improvement to existing footpaths.

New street lighting will be installed as well as soft landscaping including planting of shrubs and trees in the area.

Construction work is expected to take 18 months to complete.

This follows on from the first phase of development at Waller's Well which saw the delivery of 10 homes.

Waller's Well is one of a series of Part 8 housing applications which were granted by Limerick City and County Council and have now been approved for funding by central government.

The development is part of the council's plans for new homes in Limerick as part of its commitment to the government's overall Rebuilding Ireland project.
