Access All Areas Introduces SI60 Fire Door In Ireland

Access All Areas has introduced Doorson's SI60 60 minute fire rated automatic sliding door with self closing break out function, which it will distribute exclusively in the Irish market.

This cleverly designed fire door has been in development by Doorson for a number of years, passing SI30 initially almost three years ago, but now passing the full 60 minute rating fire test.


Due to the supreme construction of this door the steel will remain cold to the touch with a insulated seal between the two sides, even with a fire raging on the other side.

In the event of a fire alarm the door closes in safe mode using a low energy system.

When closed, the doors become standard swing fire doors with a panic bar and built in closers allowing the door to close again behind exiting persons.

Nothing else is available on the market with combined sliding automation and fire break out doors.

With the SI60 officially releasing to the market last week at BAU'19, shipping of the doors should be available by early March for fitting from mid March.
