Plans Proposed For New Civic Centre In Virginia, Co Cavan

Plans have been proposed for a new Civic, Cultural and Library Services Centre in Virginia, Co Cavan.

The project aims to develop the centre on the site of the Ramor Theatre, adjacent former Parochial House and storey end-of-terrace building on Main Street.


The former Parochial House will be retained, renovated and restored before being converted into a space for a box office, exhibition area, canteen and offices.

Other works include upgrades to the Ramor Theatre and the terrace building on Main Street, both of which are protected structures.
