The pumping stations are to be close to the harbours in Ballyhack, Arthurstown and Duncannon, with connecting pipelines to the treatment plant.
The project has been proposed by Irish Water and Wexford County Council to end the discharge of untreated wastewater to the Barrow Nore Suir Estuary.

A drop-in information event will take place on Tuesday, May 22 from 6pm to 8pm in Duncannon Community Centre to give local people an opportunity to learn more about the project and discuss the plans with the project team ahead of the finalisation of the planning application.
Irish Water aims to submit its planning application to Wexford County Council this year and, subject to the statutory approvals, works on the project could commence in 2019.
Mark Murray, Infrastructure Regional Lead, said: "The provision of wastewater treatment for Arthurstown, Ballyhack and Duncannon will mean improved water quality for bathing, enhancement of the area's amenity value and will act as a platform for social and economic development. The project will also help ensure that the water quality standards set out in relevant legislation will be achieved."
