Sinn Féin housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin TD raised serious concerns and called on Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy to ensure that his Department and the Dublin Region Homeless Executive will provide every support it can to the families.

He said: "Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) should be made available to everyone on temporary basis.
"If the planning and building control issues aren't resolved, every assistance must be provided to help the households affected to find new accommodation.
"The Department of Housing, the Dublin Region Homeless Executive and the local authorities affected must work together to ensure that none of these families fall between the cracks and become homeless or in some cases re-enter homeless services."
