Irish Water and Clare County Council are investing €200,000 to repair leaking pipes in the area.
The investment will improve the water supply for residents.
Leakage of treated water has been a serious issue in Killaloe for some time due to the age of the water mains network in the town. As a result, customers in the area have experienced a range of problems, including poor water pressure and frequent disruptions to their supply.

The work involves some excavation of local and regional roads and streets to find and fix leaks below the surface.
Customers may also experience temporary outages as work is carried out to replace or repair watermains in their area. Irish Water, Clare County Council and the contractors, Aqualeak and Roadbridge, will be managing this work to keep any disruption to a minimum.
Alan Morrissey, Irish Water's Networks Programme Regional Lead, said: "Irish Water would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused as a result of this essential work and thank local people for their patience while it is taking place. By finding and fixing leaks in the water supply network, residents, visitors and businesses in Killaloe will benefit from a much more secure and reliable water supply, with fewer outages and better water pressure overall."
