250 Jobs To Be Created After BAM And GSA Sign €43m Deal

Approximately 250 construction jobs are to be created after BAM and Global Student Accommodation Group (GSA) signed a €43 million contract to develop Uninest Mill II in Dublin.

Uninest Mill II will be an additional residence which is being built next to GSA's 400 bed residence, Uninest New Mill, which is opening in September.

The residence will offer a combination of ensuite apartments and community spaces, while the ground floor is to become a business incubation hub for start-ups, small businesses and entrepreneurs.

GSA's Head of Construction Europe, Aaron Bailey, said: "This is an exciting day for GSA, as securing this contract brings us even closer to our goal of delivering 5,000 additional student beds to Dublin by the end of 2021.

"We look forward to working closely with BAM for the duration of the project, ensuring that together we provide the community with a much-needed student residence on time and in budget."

Theo Cullinane, BAM Ireland Chief Executive said: "BAM has forged an international reputation for undertaking and delivering complex and forward-thinking projects. This is why we’re partner of choice for some of Europe’s leading organisations, and we are very proud to be delivering this project for GSA."
