Refurb Work Complete At Sydenham Wastewater Pumping Station In Belfast

Work to refurbish Sydenham Wastewater Pumping Station in Belfast is now complete.

The station will continue to be inspected daily and staff will also attend the site in the event of an official Met Office weather warning, NI Water has confirmed.

The firm is also hosting a 'drop-in' information session at the Strand Presbyterian Church Hall to update local residents on the improvement work as well as outline plans for investment in the future station.

The 'drop-in' event will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, 27 October.
