Two Members Appointed To Board Of ESB

Two new members have been appointed to the Board of energy firm ESB.

Mr Alf Smiddy and Mr Paul Lynam have each been selected for a period of five years.

The appointments were made effective on 04 October.

Minister for Communications, Climate Action & Environment, Denis Naughten, TD, said: "I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Smiddy and Mr. Lynam to the Board of the ESB. I believe these appointments will ensure that the ESB group of companies has access to key expertise and competence, in an organisation that plays an important role in the Irish energy market."
