Construction work is continuing on a £13 million social housing project in Bangor, Co Down.
A total of 106 new homes are being developed on the Old Belfast Road for Choice Housing Association.
The Department for Communities (DfC) is supporting the development with a £6.3m Housing Association Grant. Choice Housing provided £6.5m through private finance.
Michael McDonnell, Chief Executive of Choice Housing, said: "This is an important development for us and for the people of Bangor, particularly those on the housing waiting list. We have worked closely with the local communities in the design and build of this scheme to ensure it meets high standards of efficiency and quality."
Elsewhere, six new social homes and 20 apartments are being developed for Helm Housing Association at Croft Road in Holywood.
DfC is supporting the development with a £1.6m Housing Association Grant and Helm have provided £1.4m through private finance.
Patrick McClughan, Vice-Chair at Helm Housing Association said: "Building strong communities and providing high quality homes is at the centre of our work at Helm Housing. We are also committed to accommodating those who are more vulnerable in our community, and that is why 20 of the 26 apartments at Croft Road will be specially designed to suit the active elderly, helping tenants to live comfortably and independently. We look forward to welcoming our new residents to the Holywood area."
