NB Housing teamed up with Deeplake Communications and Omniledger Ltd to create the new service which is to be introduced this summer.
The system will give tenants a quick and easy method of communication, which promotes the operation of 'self-service' information regarding rent accounts, repairs, payments, satisfaction surveys etc at a time that suits tenants best.

A spokesperson from NB Housing said: "NB Housing staff have undergone extensive training to get the best results. A more efficient method of communication the texting service will significantly reduce paperwork and increase tenant interaction, whilst offering a high standard of customer care."
