The work at St Joseph's Primary School includes the development of five new classrooms, a new multi-purpose hall and refurbishing the existing building.
Education Minister Peter Weir visited the school and said he was "very impressed" with the progress on the new facilities.

Minister Weir said: "The £2.124 million investment will benefit the entire school community now and for future generations. This project has been delivered under the School Enhancement Programme which provides schools with much needed new and modern facilities.
"In addition to the improved provision for the school, such investment also provides a boost to the local construction industry."
The School Enhancement Project (SEP) was announced in 2013 for projects costing between £500,000 and £4,000,000. The programme is targeted to meet the immediate and pressing needs in schools where major capital works are not deemed deliverable.
