Firmus Energy Registered Installer Makes 75th Connection

A firmus energy registered installer has made his 75th energy connection in Newry, Northern Ireland.

John McCusker of McCusker Gas Appliance & Oil Boiler Services said since becoming a registered installed he has been kept busy in the Newry area.

Mr McCusker said: "Since I became a registered firmus energy installer, the additional gas connections coming in have been great. With efficient boilers and many practical advantages, converting to natural gas is continuing to be a popular choice for people in the area. We are very busy in and around Newry and I am extremely happy about that as I know many businesses have not been as fortunate since the recession hit."

Gavin Twamley, from firmus energy, commented: "We are delighted that, as well as customers benefiting from the many advantages of natural gas, local installers are also reaping rewards from firmus energy. In Newry alone, almost 2,000 customers have switched to natural gas so far and with more than 8,000 additional homes and businesses with the potential to connect over the next five years, John may find himself busier than ever!"
