75 New Housing Units Confirmed At Fr. Scully House

75 new housing units are to be made available at Fr. Scully House in Dublin.

Fr. Scully House is a 99-housing unit development that had been funded by the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government under the Capital Assistance Scheme and overseen by Dublin City Council and the Catholic Housing Aid Society (CHAS).

Speaking at a visit to the complex, Environment Minister Alan Kelly said: "I am delighted that these units are finally becoming available to new tenants. I believe this is a development that has great potential for this area. Nobody wanted these homes to be left lying idle as they are vital to the inner city of Dublin.

"The delay in the process of tenanting these houses was regrettable and I took a strong personal interest to ensure the matters were resolved and this complex can be tenanted now in the coming weeks. I am sure that both CHAS and Dublin City Council will make this happen quickly."
