Graham To Begin Work On Flood Alleviation Scheme

Graham Construction is to begin work on a £350,000 flood alleviation scheme in the Castlereagh area of Northern Ireland.

Appointed by NI Water, the project will get underway in the Roddens Crescent and Roddens Park area in January 2015 for approximately twelve weeks. The work will reduce the risk of flooding in the area and will improve the general sewerage infrastructure to accommodate future demands.


Matthew Lundy, NI Water Project Manager said: "NI Water and our contractor Graham Construction would like to thank the public for their cooperation during this essential improvement work. We will also complete letter drops for those residents most affected by the scheme.

"The work may cause some delays at peak times but we shall continually monitor the situation to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum. We will endeavour to make sure the work is completed as quickly as possible."
