The Corrandulla Health Centre has had a complete refurbishment as it had fallen into poor repair and was not suitable for staff and clients to use. Funding for the renovation work was received from HSE Estates Dept in July 2014. The Health Centre has been upgraded to a modern standard and the HSE is now in a position to deliver services to people within the Corrandulla area from the centre.

Catherine Cunningham, Area Manager for Galway Roscommon PCCC said: "I am delighted that we are in a position to reopen Corrandulla Health Centre. The newly renovated centre has been redecorated and has had increased insulation added to ensure a comfortable environment for patients and staff. We have a clinic room and consulting room, along with wound dressing facilities; along with a waiting area, and public WC including access for disabled. Drainage works were also carried out on the front car park which improves accessibility for staff and clients."
