Denis O'Donoghue of Savills said: "This hotel is in excellent condition and has a good mix of leisure and corporate business. It is trading profitably and is well positioned to capitalise on the strong recovery being experienced in the hotel sector at present."

The town of Charleville has good transport infrastructure with easy access to both Cork and Shannon airports in addition to a regular train service on the Dublin-Cork line. It is also home to one of the country's largest agricultural shows, held at the end of June. Leisure attractions include Ballyhoura Trail Centre, Ireland's largest purpose built mountain bike trail centre and the 18 hole Charleville Golf Club. Dunne Stores, Supervalu, Lidl and Aldi are all represented in the Town.
