A leading renewable energy developer, Amber Green Energy, has created six new jobs with support from Invest Northern Ireland's Jobs Fund.
Based in Moy and Belfast, Amber Green Energy helps clients with the planning and design of sustainable green technologies for solar, anaerobic digestion, wind, and combined heat and power. It has earned its reputation as the trusted provider of green energy solutions.
Welcoming the support from Invest NI's Jobs Fund, Dwyer O'Neill, chief executive of Amber Green Energy said: "Our team is expanding rapidly. To meet the needs of our customers we have employed an Operations Manager, Sales Consultant, two new Renewable Energy Consultants and administrative staff to support our growth in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
"With Government incentives now in place to boost renewable energy implementation, we are constantly working to build on our reputation as the trusted green energy solutions provider for farm, domestic and commercial projects.
"Support from Invest NI through the Jobs Fund has supported our growth plans and has enabled us to quickly recruit the staff we need to capitalise on business opportunities outside of Northern Ireland."
The Jobs Fund, which was designed to help boost employment, is a quick and straightforward process. The grant for each new worker is paid once they have been employed for just one month. It continues to achieve widespread uptake from innovative companies and, to date, has helped over 1,200 businesses across Northern Ireland create over 3,200 new jobs.
