Amber Green Energy has been working with Global Solar Renewables since 2011 as their preferred solar PV installation partner.
The acquisition will strengthen Amber Green's position as it holds all of the professional accreditations in-house - MCS, REAL and NICEIC and also is proud to offer all customers a 25-year warranty on the performance of its solar panel installations.
Dwyer O'Neill, Amber Green Energy's chief executive, said the acquisition will provide major benefits for existing customers and future customers.

The NICEIC has been assessing the technical competence of Contractors for more than 50 years. Their aim is to protect anyone who uses electricity from unsafe electrical installations. As an NICEIC registered contractor Amber Green Energy are re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure the high standards are met.
Mr O'Neill said: "Using an NICEIC approved contractor is a guarantee that our customers are dealing with a contractor who has demonstrated their competence in the industry."
Noel Gallagher, MD of Castlewellan based Global Solar Renewables, said he is delighted with the acquisition and is now on the Board of Amber Green Energy.

The company currently employs 13 people and plans to create further job opportunities in the coming months.
