The briefing held with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce was designed to educate businesses about ISO 50001, the Energy Management System that provides organisations with an internationally recognized framework for efficiently managing and improving their energy performance.
The training gives companies an overview of the ISO standard and how to implement their own energy management systems, helping them cut their energy bills and CO2 emissions by up to 20%. Businesses that attended the training included An Post, Noonan, Oasis Group, Concern Worldwide, Meehan Associates Architects and EML Architects.

ISO 50001 is the world's first global energy management system standard that promotes the widespread adoption of best practices and drives investment in energy efficiency.
