The Office of Public Works and the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland are inviting applications for the Architectural Graduate Training Scheme.
The Training Scheme is designed for recent graduates, who have a recognised qualification in architecture. The training scheme will have places with starting dates from November 2012. The selection process will be shortlisting for competitive interview in October 2012.
The training scheme will provide practical experience for those wishing to prepare for the Professional Practice Examinations.
Placement, in the OPW Architectural Services, Trim, Co. Meath or 52 St. Stephen’s Green Dublin 2 (or other OPW Offices as may be required) will be for 36 months only, at a salary of €30,000 p.a.
The Office of Public Works provides a wide range of architectural services and has an important role in the conservation and protection of our architectural heritage. The OPW Architectural Service is part of a multi-disciplinary service and has a wide range of projects, including major restoration and refurbishment projects for historic properties and cultural institutions, office accommodation for government departments and other agencies, Garda stations, prisons, social welfare offices etc.
